The Pac Man Legend continues with Pacxon Full Screen
For those who cannot get enough of the classic Pac Man computer game, the Pacxon Full Screen flash game is must play. The Pac Man legend continues with this game.
Game Credits
The Pacxon Full Screen game lets a player see the old Pac Man character eating its way all over the screen in all four directions. The same rule in avoiding the ghosts along the way is still in effect. There is a new twist to the game though, the screen begins empty instead of the preset interface where Pac Man players had been used to.
In Pacxon Full Screen, the classic Pac Man icon builds walls. This concept may be familiar for those who had also played Xonix type of games. In Pacxon Full Screen, the same idea of building walls to complete a level is applied. Thus, the name Pac-Xon is a combination of both Pac Man and Xonic. Although a similar game called Qix applies the same concept of building walls.
Pacxon Full Screen is actually a newer version of the first Pac-Xon game. In the first released version, a player is only required to reach 75% of the wall in order to advance to the next level. In the full screen version however, a player will need to complete 80% instead before progressing to the next chapter.
How the Pacxon Full Screen Works
The objective of the Pacxon Full Screen game is to build the walls up to 80% of the whole screen. Once this percentage is reached, the player moves on to the next level. In the Pacxon Full Screen, the same rule applied to the original Pac Man game of avoiding the ghosts along the way is applicable too. Although in the Pacxon Full Screen, the ghosts can actually cause player’s lives not only with direct contact but even when they happen to bump across unfinished walls that are being built.
There are also bonuses to watch out for. These include special icons such as the cherry, the glowing yellow circle, the banana, and the Popsicle. The cherry makes the Pac-Xon character move faster, the banana makes the ghosts move slower, the Popsicle even stops the ghosts from moving for a little while, and the glowing yellow circle frightens the ghosts away because the Pac-Xon character eats them instead.
The levels become more difficult as the Pacxon Full Screen game progresses. Even the ghosts level up too. At the beginning of the game, they are unable to jump where walls are but will be able to do so in the following chapters.
There are 20 levels in the Pacxon Full Screen game. In order to get past each level, a player must not simply eat around constructing the walls. Technique must be utilized in order to do so. One tactic that can be implemented is to wait until all ghosts have bounced on one side of the screen, say on the left before moving the Pac-Xon character. Continue the process and choose which part of the screen requires lesser amount of time for the character to travel.
